Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Our Plan:

In a collaborative effort between our faculty, staff, alumni, and student-led Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the Department of Sports Administration is moving forward with our new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion platform. Below represents the framework of how we as a program are working to combat racial and social injustice and inequality. This framework will be a launching pad for further inclusive efforts from the Department of Sports Administration, as it provides tangible and measurable steps for improving our program’s environment. 

We highly recommend any interested alumni join our Black Sport Management Affinity group, or consider developing an affinity group for another under-represented group. To get more involved, please reach out to either Jim Strode (strode@ohio.edu) or Matt Cacciato (cacciato@ohio.edu).
